About Me
"Passionate about radiating kindess and striding towards
happiness in addition to having fun and creating art."

Hand anyone at any age a coloring book, they’re almost instantaneously a kid again, worries fade and staying “in the lines” becomes ones biggest concern. But that’s just it, life is a whole big mess of scribbles, curly-q’s and crisscrosses, seeing the beauty is life’s messes is exactly what painting allows me to do.
My passion for art is why I pursued and received a Bachelor’s of Fine Art and Art Education, and a Masters of Fine Art, in addition to why I studied art therapy at a graduate level. Art allows us to reach far beyond words, shows us that problems can have more than one solution, and questions can have more than one answer. Art celebrates multiple perspectives, reminding us there are many ways to see and interpret the world.  It allows us to surrender to the unanticipated possibilities of daily-life as it unfolds. Art makes vivid the fact that neither words in their literal form nor numbers exhaust what one can know. It reminds us the limits of our language do not define the limits of our cognition.  I believe art enable us to have experiences we can have from no other source and through such experiences, discover the range and variety of what we are capable of feeling.
